Single-phase commercial "Smart Meter" analyzer or meter. Solution to operate in isolation from the rest of the CcM devices, it is ideal for domestic or isolated installations. It measures the energy flowing through one or both phases of a single-phase or two-phase magnet, communicates via WiFi connection, and is self-powered. With an accuracy of 1% and up to 63 A, it allows to analyze all the electrical variables of a single-phase installation.

It sends electrical data every 10 seconds through the cloud or via FTP connection, can be interrogated remotely via IP connection (Gateway mode).

What is the function of the CcM2-W WiFi smart energy metering?

The smart metering for submetering CcM2-W is one of the devices of the CcM family, which is used to measure electrical parameters (voltage, current, energy, etc.) in single-phase installations with neutral or two-phase.

The CcM family of smart meter for submetering is composed of a set of devices whose objectives are energy efficiency, power consumption, submetering and the monitoring of electrical parameters in the switchboards of single-phase and three-phase installations, preferably housed in circuit breakers or differential switches to obtain multiple measurements at multiple points. They are ideal for retrofit situations in existing switchboards.

This device has a special isolated design and only communicates via WiFi, it is ideal for domestic use or linked to the general master in an industrial installation to monitor remote points or electrical panels isolated from other CcM smart meters.

How does the CcM2-W submetering network analyzer work?

Within the CcM smart meter family, there are two types: the "mainstream" devices (CcM2, and CcM4), which, connected together, form a main communications bus; the factory-isolated devices (CcM2-W), which only communicate over WiFi, but being able to measure all electrical parameters and self-powering are encompassed in the main ones; and the "secondary" devices (CcM1), connected to RS-485 main devices to form a secondary bus of communications, whose master would be a main device, which supplies power to them through the cable that links them.

How do I access the CcM2-W Smart metering data?

In the specific case of the smart metering CcM2-W or network analyzer, the user will be able to wirelessly access the data taken through the WiFi interface integrated in the device. It sends electrical data from the device every 10 seconds automatically through the cloud (Cloud mode) or via a FTP connection, or be polled directly through the local network using Modbus RTU over TCP (Gateway mode).

How do I configure the CcM2-W smart meter?

The best way to configure a smart metering CcM2-W is through the App clicMONITOR or by accessing the internal web of the WiFi device through its address (http://192.168.4.1/).

The device behaves similarly to a meter or network analyzer. Inserted directly into a single-phase circuit breaker or differential, the device is connected in series with the consumption line, and records voltage, current, power and active and reactive energy values.

How do I connect the CcM2-W Smart meter?

The combination and use of different devices of the CcM smart meter family for submeteringoffer multiple configuration possibilities, depending on the most convenient in the installation scenario, either for domestic or industrial environment. Thus, it is possible to have a wired, wireless or mixed installation, connecting the different devices together to create communication buses establishing configurable master-slave hierarchies. If the needs of the installation so require, it is also possible to have a device isolated from the rest, as would be the case of the network analyzer CcM2-W. Through the data reading software, it can complement the rest of the devices with measurements in distant and specific points, as it could be the individual panel of a hotel room with the rest of the measurements of the general panels.
