Self-consumption photovoltaic installations can be of 2 types:

  • With injection to power grid → Compensation of surplus
  • No injection to power grid → Vertido cero

The 0 discharge facilities are those self-consumption facilities where there is an automatic and mechanical/digital system that prevents the discharge of surplus generation to the grid.

Our equipment regulates inverter power generation so that production does not exceed demandin less than 2 seconds.

Depending on the number of inverters and their technology, timing errors may occur (more than 2 seconds response time) and in case a grid feed-in is detected for more than 2 seconds, the equipment will stop the installation by means of a mechanical cut-off (disconnector/relay) to ensure strict compliance with the requirements of current or certified standards.

Each generation equipment (inverters) has its own technology and electronic design, therefore a unique and exclusive behavior of its design, so a way to ensure the good automatic and digital operation of the system is to make an individual certificate, unique and exclusive of each inverter versus our control system, allowing the law to extend the coverage of this certificate to the same range, technology and brand of inverter plus a 50% increase of the nominal power of the generator and minus 80% of nominal power in the equipment of that brand and that technology with respect to the inverter used in the test, giving coverage the same certificate of the tested equipment to all the inverters included in that range (+50% / -80%) of that brand and technology.

CcMaster Universal 0 discharge

Unlike other equipment with a official CERE certificate for each specific and exprofeso model, this equipment has a generic and universal CERE certificate for all photovoltaic systems and/or generators, being the responsibility of clicMONITOR the implementation and specific application in each brand of inverters or other types of energy generators.

The CcM Master Discharge 0 is an industrial smartlogger for the acquisition of data from a self-consumption photovoltaic system without injection into the grid. This mini-computer is able to monitor all the devices of a self-consumption photovoltaic system and to regulate the active power to avoid the discharge of energy to the grid for more than 2 seconds in order to comply with the R.D. 244/2019. In case a grid injection is detected for more than 2 seconds, the device commands a relay connected to the load break to disconnect the system from the grid.

The CcMaster Dump 0 unit has 2 RS485 communication ports and one RS232 port for communication with plant devices. This smartlogger, in addition to the "0" discharge, is very interesting for the reading of weather stations, network analyzers or meters as it has protocols such as MODBUS RTU, IEC and DLMS.

Like the other smart-loggers in the CcMaster family, it has an Ethernet communications port that allows it to interact with all existing devices on the same LAN network. It has all the protocols of the main commercial inverter brands as well as the industry standard protocols (MODBUS TCP), which gives it great versatility when it comes to providing a monitoring solution for the photovoltaic plant.
